Who we are

What we collect

If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address. The scope checker itself runs entirely in your browser, and your answers to it are not sent to us.

If you buy from us

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment details; we never see your card number. Lemon Squeezy shares your name, email address, order details and licence key with us so we can deliver your documents, provide support and send you the free updates that come with your purchase. We keep these records for as long as your purchase includes updates and for six years afterwards for tax and accounting purposes.

Why we use it

We use your email address to tell you about The Musterpoint's products: Martyn's Law preparation tools and event safety documents. Our lawful basis is your consent.

Who processes it

Our mailing list is held by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, based in France), which processes the data on our behalf. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@themusterpoint.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
